What a wonderful vacation we had as a family - not us with grandparents or siblings or friends- just us...the 4 of us. We had never done it before. Always thought the kids weren't quite old enough or we didn't have the money or didn't have the time, common excuses we always fell back on. We pushed everything aside and did it AND we did it well! The hubby & I took the kids on a 4 night Disney Cruise. Needless to say, we all needed the family time - some time away from e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g else.
So there were a few glitches like the fact that Tropical Storm Nicole formed in the Caribbean while we were out at sea which changed our port of call. Instead of calling in Disney's private island as scheduled, we spent that day at sea watching & waiting for it to stop raining. Definitely not what we had in mind, but we made the best of it. It was a great vacation and I hope I get to do it 10x again, but back to reality for me. Boy, has it slapped me in the face this week! It's crazy in the world of Marcia Todd Photography - I have a lot of work ahead of me - A LOT OF WORK!
