Mary Beth {Bridal Session}

The weather has been a little unpredictable lately.  One thing I could predict is that Mary Beth's bridal session would be exquisite!  Truth is we had about 15-20 minutes outdoors for some great shots before the rain came....and it stayed.  Luckily, we were able to finish the session indoors.
Mary Beth and Charles got married yesterday and I hope to have some pics of their special day up in the next week or so, but for now I'm proud to show you some shots from Mary Beth's bridal session.

Mine

I don't beg my kids too much for a real photo session.  Yeah, I did the themed Christmas cards last year, but I didn't have anything that I wanted to replace frames or canvases with.  I did take 5 minutes on Saturday and 5 minutes on Sunday (yep 5 minutes) to get a good shot of both of them.  I didn't even plan it - Me and the kids had opened an upstairs window to talk to Robert while he was down below in the yard and I looked behind me and instantly recognized the yummy light on Morgan's face.  I said to her "stay right here".  I grabbed my camera then returned to my spot by the window and took about 20 shots of her.  I liked what I got so much I decided to put Ret in the same spot the next day for something similar.

I said all that to show you these.  They are mine.  Happy Monday!

Ava {7mo}

Last time I saw Miss Ava she was only 8 days old.  Well, we made up for lost time with her 7 month session.  She smiled at the camera like it was her job!  Prepare yourselves, there's some major cuteness below...

M + B Wedding Images

I really enjoy second shooting weddings on occasion for my friends.  The pressure is off and it's a lot of fun for me.  I was the second shooter for my friend, Rachel, who was the main photographer for a beach wedding this past weekend.  I take my cues from Rachel, but she does allow me to throw out some ideas and interact with the couple.  Majority of the time I just try to stay out of her way and surprise her with the not-so-obvious moments and something other than what she is getting.  Here are a few shots that I got as the second-shooter...

Thanks Rachel for a fun-filled afternoon and see you soon!
