Dylan {8 months}

Dylan just put this blog into Cuteness Overdrive! You might remember a blog I did 5-6 months ago with a baby sleeping on her daddy's guitar? Well....this is her! Dylan is a complete camera hog & I love it!! Her expressions & those adorable "Michelin" arms melt my heart. This is why I love what I do...

The next shot reminds me so much of the way my Morgan would sit as a baby. I think that Dylan may grow up to be a gymnast....

Ashley & Jonathan, I can't thank you enough for bringing Dylan back for more portraits. I love seeing how she has grown since last time. It was a great session --- even though there was some blood & tears shed ;-)

So many pretty photos to share starting with Morgan. Not "my" Morgan....my friend, Kay, (yes the one that crochets my goodies) also has a daughter named Morgan. Ironic - they are similar in many ways - their name, their nickname and their dedication to their sport. "Her" Morgan loves softball & is an excellent pitcher. She traded in her glove & cleats for a dress & heels for her middle school prom. Check out this lovely little lady!

Ellen's Senior Pictures

I just need to say that this photo shoot with Ellen goes on my favorites list. I was in my own little world during this session...Ellen made it too easy! She's bubbling over with beauty, she's smart, sassy (in a good way) & all around the sweetest gal!

While I would have preferred some orange, she decided on the garnett/black hair piece symbolizing the college she's attending...

Moving on.

The Graduation Present...

I'm not an interior designer, but I think her dorm room will look fantastic (especially with these prints hanging out.)

The Calhoun's {Portrait Party}

DRUMROLL PLEASE! Sneak Peek of Mini Session #18 - the final session from this wonderful day...

There are not enough "thank you's" for the wonderful hostess of this portrait party. I'm happy to mention this was Amy's 4th portrait party with me & because of her I've gained extra time behind the camera and have met some wonderful people in the process. Amy goes above & beyond the call of her hostess duty - she emails me a spreadsheet complete with all the appointments including their info (so that's one less thing I have to collect on the morning of the party). We broke a record with 18 mini sessions...she stuck with me the entire day; from 8:30am to 7:00pm with one small 30 minute break - full of smiles & songs & bribes ;-) What's incredible is she hosted the party and gave up her spot for someone else. Needless to say, she'll be using her hostess credit towards her own session in the near future.

A special thank you also to everyone who took a little time out of their day to come & be with us. I sure hope you enjoy your photos as much as I do!
