Sisters stick together...

Sisters stick together like fat thighs. <------ I saw this on a sign while scrolling around on Pinterest.  Glad I could make you smile. :-)

I love these kids.  They are the daughters of some of my dear friends and they are special little ladies.  The youngest and my daughter are the same age and spend time together when they are not busy with their going-ons.  They become sisters when they are around each other and that melts my heart.
It was TOUGH picking the images for this sneak peek, but I did my best.  Check out these beautiful faces - they can totally rock close-ups...

I am so in LOVE with the next shot.  Heart. is. melting.

Roberts Family {sneak peek}

Another great family session.  It was these 3 and their entourage.  No kidding, there was probably 5-6 other family members standing behind the camera with me.  Koty kept referring to her family as the "funny farm"...I didn't mind a bit.  I actually enjoyed the company and the way the whole family got along.
Here are a few of my favorites from the Roberts family session..

Holmes Family {sneak peek}

Like I said, family sessions are the buzz right now.  I had the complete delight to spend some time with the Holmes family.  Wife/Mom, Cammie, told me that this was the first family photos they've had since their first child was an infant.  My response:  "SHAME on you!"  I'm so happy I got to capture these moments for them...

I saw a sign/quote on Pinterest that I thought was appropriate:

Being a family means you are a
part of something very wonderful.
It means you will love
and be loved for the rest of your life.
No matter what.

Thank you Holmes family for a perfect session...I just know you are going to cherish these images forever.

GO TIGERS!!

Allen Family {sneak peek}

9 months ago or so I did a newborn session with "sweet cheeks".  You have to go back and look at her pics from that session, it's one of my favorites.
She's growing so fast and I met up with her and her parents to get some updated pics.

It's that time of year when family sessions are being scheduled because it will soon be time to send out Christmas cards.  And what grandparent doesn't love to get an updated pic as a gift during the holidays?
The Allens have made a step in the right direction with these fabulous family photos.  Here are some of my favorites from our session - All of which I think is Christmas card worthy ;-)

It was great seeing you guys - Enjoy your sneak peek!

Kaylee: 2012 Senior Session {Sneak Peek}

Seniors have an extra something special about them.  They show up for their senior session with me so confident & mature.  I think it's because they take pride in their accomplishments...and rightfully so.  They did it!  They have went from kindergarten to 12th grade and have had so many teachers, books, notes, tests, relationships, picture days, school lunches, friends, year books, lockers, dates, parties, field trips & pencils than you can shake a stick at.  Seniors=Success.   Here's another success story...

Kaylee is a senior this year and OWNED her session with me.  She's a beautiful girl that has a great attitude, a fabulous smile and can give you a serious model stare in a snap.  I'm a sucker for curls (b/c I have stick straight hair) & so I was envying Kaylee's hair.
Another tid-bit about me:  I'm a curious gal so I ask a lot of questions.  I asked Kaylee if she'd had curly hair since she was a little girl and was taken back at what was involved with the answer.
Five years ago, Kaylee was diagnosed with leukemia and received wavier curls after losing most of her hair during treatment.  WOW!  Definitely a senior with a success story!

Kaylee, I can't imagine what it was like for you receiving the news that you had leukemia at only 12-13 years old.  I'm sure you learn quickly that you are stronger than you think you are.  You have to be if you want to survive.  I admire you, your fight and your success!  Your story has made me realize once again how precious my kids are and how I sometimes neglect the time I have with them.  You are an inspiration to me & I am sure that you have that same impression on your peers.  God bless you!

Items from Blossom Boutique...

While Miss Emery was over, she might as well help me market some of the awesome head pieces that I received from Blossom Boutique.  I am supplying the link to the facebook page, but they hope to have an Etsy page up soon!  They have a variety of head bands, bibs, burpies, silkies and have just started making the boys bow-ties.  They can do custom orders as well!
Here are just a few of what they sent me to try...

Miss Emery {sneak peek}

You may recognize this little lady...She's a repeat ;-)   This time we are celebrating her 2nd birthday.  I adore shooting this little girl (& her big sister).  Their mom is a high school friend of mine and loves to help create these images just as much as I do.  She always coordinates with me beforehand and we brainstorm about the sessions.  I LOVE THAT!
& I love these images...

Miss Emery matches my logo perfectly doesn't she?

I know that mom is a follower of my blog.  She has let me know a time or two when I've slacked off so I know she's been checking everyday for the past week for Miss Emery's pics.  Brooke, I hope you enjoy the sneak peek & thank you for ALL your help and support!

XOXO, Marcia
