I've been photographing these 2 since they were in their momma's womb. Isn't it amazing how much things change in just 6 months or so! I met them when they were 13 days old & I am humbled that I was invited back to do more portraits of Greer & Davis. I'll be honest and say that it's always an added bonus to see my work printed, framed and on my clients walls - their newborn portrait is displayed beautifully in the living room.
So of course I was excited to see them again after 6 months of growing.
Their mom agreed to let me stuff them in the sink - they didn't seem to mind ;-)
They look a lot alike, but yet different in their own way. Little Miss Greer enjoys tummy time...
And Little Mr. Davis likes to relax on his back while playing with his feet...
And they both seem to enjoy playing dress up...
Working with babies isn't always easy and there's always a little window of opportunity for me to get some great photos. That window shrinks a good bit when there is two, but I'm patting myself on the back for these adorable shots. And, when it was all said and done, after what seemed like an eternity to mom I'm sure, we had two sleepy little babies.
Thanks for following the blog - their gallery will be ready shortly.

Emma Kate | 6 months
I wanted to post a sneak peek of my latest session before I get tied up with my daughter's state meet this weekend.
This is Emma Kate - who I think looks like a real baby doll. She's just learned to sit up all by herself and look at her sitting like a pro! I so enjoyed meeting her and her mommy on this gorgeous windy afternoon. How windy? Windy enough to carry her stroller down the hill!! Don't worry, Emma Kate was safe and sound and sitting like a big girl for me in the grass ;-) Here are a few of my favorite shots from this session...

The Harrelson Ranch
Chuck Harrelson was the big winner in my New Year Giveaway, but I do believe I was the lucky one. This shoot was so much fun and I am smitten with the shots. I'll admit after staring at these for the past day and a half, I'm a little family photo envious. The Harrelsons are good, honest, great-to-be-around folks that love each other and their horses! If I didn't have a family of my own, I would adorn MY walls with these images ;-)
The rest of the pics from our session are on my website - go ahead...check 'em out!

Miss Ava T | Toddler!
Miss Ava came to visit me last week and she had nothing but love for the camera. At only 13 months old, it was obvious that she has had some camera time - her smile is so contagious. Umm, yeah she's a natural.
I had some balloons for her. The first one I handed her popped the minute it touched the grass. :-(
Round 2...
We ended the session with a 1st birthday celebration...

Hadden | 8 Days New
I've had this shoot on my books now for a couple of months anticipating baby Hadden's arrival. I love when expecting mothers get in touch with me beforehand to make sure I know to be expecting them as well. It lets me know that they want these moments captured just as much as I want to capture them.

The thing about what I do is that it comes from inside...I mean, I do have a business - being paid for it doesn't suck ;) But at the end of the day what really matters..what I do it for...I do it to capture the things that I find too precious to let go in a momentary glance. I want to capture my daughter's eyelashes before there comes a time they are covered in mascara every day. I want to capture my sons adorable round, soft cheeks before they give way to a chiseled jaw line & whiskers. So many things that my memory may forget that these images can remember.Introducing a precious little peanut, Baby Hadden...

The Palmer Family
I had a New Years giveaway the beginning of the year and one of the winners is going to be cashing in soon. Kat Palmer was one of the lucky winners of the $100 gift certificate. She chose to do a family shoot this week - what a stunning family!
I love capturing these beautiful faces...

Doesn't Kat remind you of a classy movie star? She just has that natural beautiful in a Julia Roberts kinda a way look....
They brought their dog, Sadie, in hopes of her getting in some of the family pics, but Sadie couldn't stay out of my pond long enough.... I got this shot of her at the end of our session ;-)
So happy that Kat is taking advantage of her prize. I have to say that Giving is awesome. See the rest of this session by clicking HERE

A Sports Session in Savannah
We were in Savannah, Georgia, this weekend. My baby girl had a gymnastics meet Friday afternoon and then we spent Saturday enjoying the sites. I was so excited that we had pretty spring weather because I was hoping we could squeeze in a photo session. Morgan's meet season is coming to a close and I had not gotten any new gymnastics pics of her as a Level 5 gymnast. We took to the streets of Savannah for a "flippin'" good time ;-)
Click HERE to see some more photos from our Savannah shoot. And in case I haven't mentioned it lately, I'm one proud momma!

Baby Zeke now 4 months!
You may remember my newest nephew, Zeke, that was born in October. It amazes me how fast he's growing. I created a VIDEO with the pics from his actual birth day (that I was so honored to have witnessed) & his NEWBORN SESSION was one of my favorites. He's now 4 months old and smiling & laughing & trying to roll over & drooling like it's nobody's business! He gave Aunt Marcia a little bit of his time so that I could let him model the new hat my friend, Jennifer, with Bird's Nest Creations made. He's quite the model, don't ya think?
More of his pics will be posted to my website very soon so keep checking!
P.S. He smelled wonderful *giggle*

Commercial/Promotional Work
On occasion I am contacted to do some commercial/promotional work for other companies and/or busineses. Most of the time, the company knows exactly what they have in mind for their website or business ads and then other times they rely solely on me for ideas. I'm always happy to help either way.
I was thrilled when contacted by my friend and local attorney, Daniel Selwa. His new website is "under construction" and some great images of Daniel for that new website was a must-have!
My Other Commercial/Promotional work includes:
TAG Photography
United We Dance
Ward Law Firm
Charles Byrd, Realtor
Century 21 - McAlpine
Bird's Nest Creations
